LITTLE DISCOVERERS
6 months to 2 years old
This room has been purposely designed to cater for the Little Discoverers' rapid development in a safe, calm and comfortable environment. We have developed a black and white area for our youngest babies as research has shown that high contrast in colours are a simple way to stimulate the baby's senses.
LITTLE EXPLORERS
2 to 3 years old
The Little Explorers are based in a spacious, beautiful bright room with easy access to the indoor and outdoor play areas. The room has been carefully designed to give the Little Explorers many opportunities to challenge themselves through exploring the space freely. Our cosy area encourages the children to spend time independently looking at a wide range media and reading to build vocabulary and love of books.
LITTLE INVENTORS
3 to 5 years old
This room has been designed to prepare children for their transition into school. In this area of the nursery, we continue to encourage sharing and co-operation and enjoying every day activities through play as well as promoting British Values. The EYFS is reflected throughout this room featuring mathematics, literacy, understanding the world, role play, construction areas, expressive arts & design including painting, sand and water play. Children are encouraged to be more independent by further learning basic skills.
