Welcome to The Playhouse Nursery
At The Playhouse Nursery, we provide a nurturing, home-from-home environment where children aged 6 months to 5 years can learn, grow, and thrive. Located in a quiet residential street in the Muswell Hill / Colney Hatch area, our OFSTED-registered, privately owned nursery offers safe, high-quality, and affordable childcare from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
We believe in the power of learning through play. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, we create opportunities for children to develop essential social, emotional, and physical skills in a fun and stimulating way.
Our facilities include bright indoor and outdoor play spaces, along with a unique, purpose-built indoor soft play area that children enjoy on a daily basis. This dedicated area encourages physical activity, imaginative play, and social interaction, helping every child to explore and develop with confidence.

ENVIRONMENT
We are a family run business and have children of our own so we know the importance of providing a safe, friendly and comfortable environment for children as well as the adults. Your child will learn in a safe, warm and accepting environment. Our atmosphere enables children to respect themselves and others. Through diverse creative experiences, we enhance children’s ability to socialise with others, be creative, express themselves and develop. We provide a high quality program, one which we are always improving following the guidelines of Early Years Foundation Stage.
INDOOR & OUTDOOR PLAYGROUND
Our indoor & outdoor play area offer a safe and fun environment, where babies, toddlers and children can create and develop life skills. Play areas are important for children, giving them a space for pretending, expressing and imagining themselves. Play areas promote thinking, problem solving, and turn taking, and help children learn and develop skills in all domains.
OUR ROOMS
Our rooms are carefully designed to meet the development needs of each and every child. We have dedicated rooms for our various age groups and each room reflects the 7 areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
